Cherry Chip Scones

Preheat oven to 400

3 cups flour
1/2 cup sugar
2 1/2  tsp bakeing powder
1/2 tsp bakeing soda
6 tbs cold butter
1 cup vanilla yogurt
1/4 cup milk
1 1/3 cup dried cherries or cranberries
3/4 cup vanilla or white chocolate chips
2 tbs milk

mix flour, sugar,baking powder, bakeing soda, and butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.  Set aside.  Combine vanilla yogurt and 1/4 cup milk.  Stir into crumb mixture just until moistened.  Knead in cherries and vanilla chips.  Pat into a 9 in. circle on a bakeing sheet, cut into 8 pieces pie style, seperate the wedges and brush with 2 tbs milk.  Bake 20 - 25 min.  Serve with milk. 

I love dipping the scones in milk.
